Every MONDAY when you set your trash at the curb, set out your yard waste too. You can set out up to eight (8) trash bags and eight (8) yard waste bags.
Yard waste must be enclosed in brown paper compost bags or in a polycart.
Remember – Trash should be set at curbside no earlier than Sunday at 4:00 pm and no later than 7:00 am Monday morning. Yard waste may be set out no earlier than Friday at 3:00 pm.
Reminder: GFL defines yard waste as ‘mulcher-ready seasonal plant matter’. This means leaves, grass clippings, trimmings from bushes, garden weeds, etc.
Tree limbs may be included but must be cut and tied together in bundles no greater than 4 feet by 2 feet, using only natural fiber rope or twine. GFL will NOT accept nylon rope or wire.
GFL does NOT consider the following as yard waste: firewood, lumber, dirt, rock or landscape timbers.
