July 1st - 3rd – 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

July 4th - 8 a.m. to Midnight
The Lake Tapawingo Police Department will also exercise increased street patrol and law enforcement measures during these times to make sure residents are complying with the regulations provisioned by the City’s Fireworks Ordinance.

Purchase city-approved fireworks from the Lake Tapawingo Sportsman Club located @ 244 Dockside Drive (Clubhouse Shelter)

Sales for fireworks are from June 28th – July 4th
DISCHARGE OF BOTTLE ROCKETS IS PROHIBITED!!!!!

Always have an adult present when discharging fireworks

Avoid discharging fireworks in dry areas

Do not discharge fireworks around pets or animals

It shall be unlawful for any person to throw, use, explode, discharge, detonate, aim, point or shoot any fireworks on all streets, parks, boat lots and the lake owned by the Lake Tapawingo Country Club

Only consumer grade, Class C, fireworks will be permitted to be discharged within the City limits

Property owners shall be responsible for any violation(s) that occurs on their property

If burned, observe proper burn care and call 911

THE FIREWORKS DISPLAY WILL AGAIN BE DISCHARGED FROM THE MAIN DAM ON JULY 4th (Weather Permitting) at approx. 9:15 p.m., DUE TO SAFETY THE MAIN DAM WILL BE CLOSED AT 8:00 A.M. ON July 4th, TO ALL VEHICLE TRAFFIC, INCLUDING PEDESTRIAN AND BIKE TRAFFIC. PLEASE ADVISE ALL YOUR GUESTS ACCORDINGLY ABOUT ROAD CLOSURE!!
